I am an Instructional Technologist in a large school district near Dallas, TX. I have been teaching for 20 years. I have presented at the TCEA conference in Austin for 14 years. I am a "SEE" (SMART Exemplary Educator) and I love sharing my knowledge of SMART Boards, Notebook Software, and SMART Response Systems with teachers. My friend and colleague, Rhonda Laffoon, and I together make up "Two SMART Gals" and present workshops on using SMART in the classroom.

Great Site for ELL
This is my first official Post!! I am sharing a site that was also shared by "anothersmartgal" Rhonda Laffoon. The site is Foundation-Communication and it's from the BBC and has several interactive activities that are perfect for use with the SMART Board and are designed specifically for English Language Learners.
